Apparently this deflated kickball is the best thing ever. It’s fun for a boy (as seen in our “kick hat” post) & a girl. LOL.
Katie brought her baby kitty on our morning walk to school. She said, “Sssshhh Mommy. Kitty is sleeping in her tuck.”. What is a tuck? Apparently it’s a baby carrier made out of a deflated kickball.

So the kids have been good since getting home and ate all their dinner. I go to get them each a scoop of ice cream. William asks if he can pick something different for dessert.
Mommy: “Like what?”
William: “Can I have a candy bar?”
Mommy: “We don’t have candy bars.”
William: “Yes we do. I promise.”
Mommy: “What do they look like?”
William: (lots of thinking) “I don’t know.”
Mommy: “What are they called? What do they taste like?”
William: (lots more thinking) “I don’t know.”
At this point we’ve been standing, staring at the pantry for 5 minutes. He keeps looking. Daddy rounds the corner with a grin on his face.
Mommy: “Did Daddy give you candy bars for dessert one night?”
William: (acting shy) “Yes.”
At this point I realize that Daddy bought Halloween candy and hid it. William looks up at a smirking Daddy.
William: “Mommy said I could pick my dessert. I want candy bars. You know… Sneakers… And twigs.”
HAHAHA!!! How cute. Instead of Snickers & Twix they’re sneakers & twigs. And Mommy knows Daddy hides candy in his empty Creatine jar. LOL.
